As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Trading Infrastructure team, you will develop scalable infrastructure that processes millions of orders daily while serving high-end financial customers. You'll work on features to increase speed and functionality—whether new trading algorithms, exchange integrations, performance improvements, or platform features. You'll play an active role in executing system architecture and roadmap, collaborate with Product Management on feature planning and performance optimization, and grow to become an expert in the entire trading systems ecosystem.
You'll use deductive reasoning to solve complex problems that span beyond your local environment and take pride in code quality, test infrastructure, execution speed, security, and end-user experience.
Required: At least 7 years of experience with Golang (preferred), C#, C++, or Java. You're a self-starter capable of handling projects from ideation through customer delivery and beyond. Demonstrated experience building and operating complex, distributed systems at scale is essential.
Preferred: Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies, data manipulation skills (SQL and Snowflake), knowledge of order types, routing, exchange management and systems performance, and experience building high-performance, low-latency distributed trading systems.
Compensation: Base salary $175,000–$200,000 (US), plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and flexible PTO.
