Snowflake is seeking a Senior AI/ML Solution Engineer to drive adoption of AI/ML solutions across strategic US Major Accounts. This is a high-impact, customer-facing technical role that bridges the gap between customer business challenges and Snowflake's AI/ML platform capabilities.
You will partner with Account Executives and regional Solution Engineers to identify, qualify, and develop AI/ML opportunities. Key responsibilities include conducting technical presentations and workshops on Snowflake's AI/ML portfolio, architecting and prototyping foundational AI/ML solutions, and building proof-of-concepts that demonstrate clear business value. You'll serve as the technical bridge between customers and Snowflake's central AI/ML Product and Engineering teams, synthesizing customer feedback and emerging requirements.
A core part of this role is driving sales acceleration through hands-on-keyboard development—creating Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and functional prototypes that quickly demonstrate platform capability and time-to-value. You'll also provide direct technical support and capacity augmentation for regional SE teams engaged in complex AI/ML sales cycles, develop training materials to upskill the broader SE organization, and document successful solution patterns and best practices.
The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts including data preparation, model training, deployment, and monitoring. You should possess Level 200-300 technical depth in AI/ML—capable of designing robust solutions, discussing common algorithms and frameworks, and implementing standard MLOps pipelines. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Performance is measured by direct contribution to accelerating AI/ML business growth within USMajors, with metrics tied to incremental consumption (60%) and TACV bookings (40%), year-over-year AI/ML revenue growth, technical wins and go-lives, and regional SE technical proficiency improvement. Travel is expected up to 30-40% of the time to support critical customer engagements across assigned regions.
