Verto Education is reimagining higher education by enabling students to begin their college journey overseas through experiential education before transferring to one of 70+ partner universities in the United States. The Senior Admissions Counselor plays a critical role in advancing this mission by guiding students and families through the enrollment process from initial inquiry through deposit.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective students and families, conducting approximately 75 outbound phone calls daily (~4 hours per day) to educate them about Verto's offerings, benefits, and partner college options. You'll communicate across multiple channels—phone, email, SMS, and Zoom—presenting complex information about higher education pathways with clarity and professionalism. You'll maintain meticulous records in the CRM, track student progress toward enrollment milestones, and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly enrollment goals.
Beyond core admissions activities, during off-peak seasons you'll support the broader enrollment department by conducting outreach to enrolled students for onboarding and pre-arrival preparation, managing student caseloads, responding to inquiries throughout the pre-departure lifecycle, and assisting with event coordination and process improvements.
You'll work independently in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and compliance with privacy and confidentiality policies. Collaboration with internal teams (academics, operations, student life, university partnerships) is essential to problem-solving and supporting students holistically.
Verto is a 100% remote-first, mission-driven organization with a globally-minded culture. The role offers exposure to cross-functional teams and the opportunity to impact students' life-changing educational decisions.
