Salary: USD 205,000 - 306,250 / annual

Affirm is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead and grow strategic merchant partnerships. This high-profile, customer-facing role focuses on building long-term relationships with large strategic accounts while driving revenue growth and General Merchandise Volume (GMV). You will oversee a portfolio of key strategic accounts and be responsible for developing and executing sophisticated account plans, including complex contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and expansion opportunities. The role requires orchestrating cross-functional collaboration across Product, Technical, Credit, Analytics, Marketing, and Risk teams to execute partnership initiatives and deliver business results. Key responsibilities include: - Acting as a subject matter expert and thought leader across omni-retail account management, driving best practices and outcomes - Developing strategic initiatives including contract negotiation, pricing optimization, and identifying expansion opportunities - Leading and executing account plans that incorporate financing optimizations, executive relationship engagement, and marketing strategies - Analyzing partner performance and recommending programs to increase product adoption and drive growth - Managing customer health and satisfaction while driving advocacy and resolving critical issues - Collaborating with development, product, and support teams to improve offerings for merchants Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of B2B client-facing experience in high-tech environments with demonstrated account growth impact. You should have experience negotiating large, complex commercial contracts, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects. Excellent analytical abilities, executive presence, and experience with Salesforce and BI tools are essential. Knowledge of retail, consumer finance, and e-commerce is preferred. Travel 10-20% of the time is expected.
