Showbie is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive customer retention, expansion, and recurring revenue growth across its existing customer base. The company builds classroom feedback and assessment tools used by millions of teachers and students globally, with products including Showbie and Socrative.
In this remote role based in the United Kingdom (with occasional travel for customer meetings and team days), you will own a portfolio of customer accounts ranging from SMB to Enterprise, including Multi-Academy Trusts, districts, and schools across the UK and globally. You will be responsible for ARR, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), renewals, upsells, expansion, and accurate revenue forecasting.
Key responsibilities include:
**Revenue Retention & Growth:** Manage your account portfolio to drive renewals, expansion opportunities, seat growth, and product upsells. Own ARR, NRR, renewal, and growth targets. Build and execute account plans identifying risks, growth opportunities, and stakeholder engagement strategies. Proactively identify churn risks and create mitigation plans. Maintain accurate forecasting of renewals and expansion pipeline. Lead commercial conversations with confidence around pricing, procurement, renewal timelines, and negotiation.
**SaaS Account Management:** Develop strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and C-level contacts. Lead customer meetings independently, including renewal conversations and commercial reviews. Engage confidently with senior decision-makers in the EdTech sector. Ask strong discovery questions, uncover commercial risk, and move opportunities forward without requiring senior support in every meeting.
**Team Leadership & Development:** As a Senior Account Manager, you will mentor the wider team through coaching, sharing best practices, and raising the standard of commercial account management. Depending on performance and alignment, there may be an opportunity for this role to evolve into an Account Management Team Lead.
You should have strong SaaS account management experience within EdTech, combining customer partnership with commercial ownership. You will be expected to manage opportunities confidently, use data to make informed decisions, and maintain a clear and accurate forecast.
