Perry Weather helps organizations keep people safe and maintain operations during adverse weather conditions. The company combines on-site weather stations, sirens, software, and 24/7 meteorologist support into an integrated system for monitoring conditions and automating weather safety decisions. Customers include school districts, businesses, municipalities, golf courses, and professional sports organizations. The company recently raised $110M in growth funding. As Senior Account Manager, you will own retention and growth across the company's largest and most strategic accounts. You'll manage a focused book of approximately 50 customers, growing toward 75, with full responsibility for renewals, expansion, and overall customer relationship management. Key responsibilities include owning the complete renewal cycle from planning through negotiation; identifying and closing expansion opportunities by understanding customer needs and introducing additional products or broader adoption; building relationships with key stakeholders including day-to-day users, internal champions, and executive decision-makers; developing account plans that capture customer priorities, renewal risks, and growth opportunities; leading customer conversations about adoption and results; partnering with Account Executives on strategy; coordinating onboarding for complex accounts; taking ownership of customer issues; and sharing customer feedback with Product teams. You'll have autonomy to build account plans, improve onboarding processes, and establish best practices that the broader team can adopt as the company scales. Success is measured by meeting or exceeding renewal and expansion targets, ensuring customers consistently use the platform and understand its value, maintaining account plans with engaged stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities early, and building processes that improve enterprise customer management. The role requires 5+ years of SaaS account management or customer success experience with enterprise or strategic accounts, a track record of customer retention and expansion sourcing, experience managing renewals and contract negotiations with multiple decision-makers, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to connect product capabilities to customer outcomes, comfort building processes while managing day-to-day account needs, product curiosity, and willingness to travel for customer meetings.
