Perry Weather provides integrated weather monitoring and safety automation systems for organizations including school districts, businesses, municipalities, golf courses, and professional sports teams. The company combines on-site weather stations, sirens, software, and 24/7 meteorologist support to help customers keep people safe and operations running during weather events. Recently funded with $110M in growth capital, Perry Weather is expanding its customer success and account management capabilities.
As Senior Account Manager, you will own retention and expansion for a focused portfolio of approximately 50 strategic accounts, growing toward 75. Your responsibilities span the full customer lifecycle: managing renewals from planning through negotiation, identifying and closing expansion opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders at multiple levels, and developing comprehensive account plans that capture priorities, risks, and growth potential.
You'll lead customer conversations about adoption and results, partner with Account Executives on strategy, coordinate complex onboarding across teams, and take ownership of customer issues. A key part of the role is helping shape the account management function itself—you'll have autonomy to build account plans, improve onboarding processes, and establish scalable practices for the broader team.
Success means meeting or exceeding renewal and expansion targets, ensuring customers consistently use and understand the value of Perry Weather, maintaining account plans with engaged stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities early, and building processes that improve how the team manages enterprise customers.
You'll work from the Oak Lawn office Monday through Friday, collaborating directly with the full team. The role requires 5+ years of SaaS account management or customer success experience with enterprise or strategic accounts, a proven track record in retention and expansion, expertise in renewals and contract negotiation, strong communication and organizational skills, and willingness to travel for customer meetings.
