Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by 29,000+ companies. The company is building a vertical go-to-market motion, organizing enterprise sales by industry to sell in the buyer's language with industry-specific use cases and proof points. As a Senior Account Executive for Vertical Accounts, you will own net-new enterprise pipeline and expansion within an assigned industry vertical across North American markets. This is a full-cycle enterprise sales role where you'll drive new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts, running deals from first meeting to close using MEDDPICC or similar methodologies. Key responsibilities include: sourcing and closing new Mixpanel customers and new business units within existing customers; driving expansion alongside Renewal Managers and Customer Value Managers; learning the language, buyer personas, and use cases of your vertical; shaping and refining vertical playbooks based on field learnings; asking credible technical discovery questions about prospects' data and analytics maturity; partnering closely with Sales Engineering on technical validation; maintaining accurate SFDC pipeline and forecast data; collaborating with Marketing and Product Marketing on vertical messaging; and providing your manager with deal signals (volume, win rates, competitive patterns) to support vertical maturation. You should have a strong track record of full-cycle sales success in SMB-to-enterprise SaaS, with experience selling into a specific industry vertical or demonstrated ability to build vertical fluency quickly. You're comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes in real time. You have strong discovery and qualification skills, experience with analytics/data/technical products, and the ability to run credible technical discovery with technical buyers. You communicate clearly, build trust with business and technical stakeholders, and turn field learnings into repeatable playbooks. Bonus qualifications include experience partnering with Sales Engineering, shaping go-to-market strategy, mentoring peers, and advanced SFDC and forecasting proficiency.
