Figma is seeking a Senior Account Executive for their SMB segment to drive new business growth and manage inbound prospects across assigned territories. This role is critical to Figma's expansion strategy, focusing on generating pipeline, closing deals, and building lasting relationships with key decision-makers at small-to-medium businesses (under 500 FTEs).
You will own the full sales cycle for SMB accounts, from prospecting through close, managing high-volume sales cycles typically lasting 1-3 months. Key responsibilities include creating and managing a robust pipeline of net-new accounts through both inbound and outbound activity, applying discovery and value-selling techniques to identify customer pain points, and positioning Figma's design and collaboration platform as the solution. You'll conduct account analysis to tier and prioritize opportunities, engage cross-functional partners (product, customer success, technical teams) to advance deals, and leverage in-person meetings and networking to strengthen relationships.
The ideal candidate has proven success closing SaaS deals in an outbound sales function, consistent track record of meeting pipeline generation targets, and demonstrated ability to manage high-volume sales cycles. Experience selling to technical audiences (engineering, product, design teams) is a plus, as is familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDIC or similar frameworks. You should thrive in a fast-moving environment and be excited to learn from experienced sellers at a high-growth company.
This is a full-time, in-person hybrid role based in either the NYC or SF office (2 days/week on-site). Figma values curiosity and growth mindset; they encourage applications even if your background doesn't perfectly match the description.
