Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by 29,000+ companies. The Select Accounts team owns Mixpanel's most strategic enterprise customers, running the full sales motion: protecting the base, expanding within accounts, and opening net new logos from a defined target list.
In this role, you'll own a book of named enterprise accounts (existing Mixpanel customers) alongside a focused list of net new target logos. You'll run renewal, expansion, and new logo motions in parallel, leading complex multi-stakeholder deals independently. You'll be trusted to make judgment calls on pursuit strategy, deal structure, and territory prioritization. In your first 90 days, you'll build a comprehensive territory plan covering your full account list, map key relationships and growth opportunities in each account, and present your go-forward strategy to leadership.
Key responsibilities include: building and executing account plans that connect Mixpanel's capabilities to customer business priorities; developing multi-threaded relationships from practitioner level through C-suite; running regular business reviews; forecasting accurately and maintaining clean pipeline in Salesforce; identifying and closing expansion opportunities (new teams, products, upgraded tiers); prospecting and closing net new logos from your target list; running a disciplined MEDDPICC sales process; partnering with Solutions Engineers on demos and POCs; building pipeline across self-generated outbound, BDR, channel partners, and inbound; collaborating with Customer Success on post-sale value realization; bringing customer and market signals back to Product; and contributing to team playbooks.
You should have a track record of owning enterprise SaaS accounts across renewal, expansion, and net new motions; closed six- and seven-figure deals with 6-12 month sales cycles; built relationships at VP and C-suite level; used MEDDPICC to qualify and run deals; led complex cross-functional deals independently; demonstrated clear written and verbal communication; a self-directed, coachable approach; comfort operating with ambiguity; and willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and events. Bonus experience includes selling analytics, data, or technical products; selling to product, engineering, or data teams; building or improving team playbooks; and familiarity with land-and-expand motions.
