Precisely is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive mainframe software sales across the Americas, specifically targeting enterprise IBM System Z customers. This remote role reports directly to the Senior Director of Sales for IBM Infrastructure in North America and is ideal for candidates based in the US East or Central regions with deep expertise in enterprise mainframe environments, particularly in observability and ITOM/ITSM disciplines.
You will own a named account territory and be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing direct sales engagements with enterprise customers. Key responsibilities include learning Precisely's product suite and sales methodology, understanding industry trends and customer pain points within your territory, developing and executing business plans to generate pipeline and revenue, building strong client relationships, and expanding into new accounts and buying centers. You will work closely with regional partners to maximize opportunities for Precisely products and services.
The role is highly visible within the organization and requires a results-focused, motivated sales professional with a passion for driving the complete customer lifecycle. As a senior-level position, you will be expected to leverage your deep mainframe domain expertise and established customer relationships to accelerate deal closure and account expansion.
