Nitra is building an ecosystem of fintech and software solutions to help medical practices manage their operations more efficiently. The company was founded by unicorn founders and is backed by leading VCs including Andreessen Horowitz and NEA.
You will join the Sales team as a Senior Account Executive, owning the full life cycle of deals from opportunity creation through close. This is a full-cycle closing role focused on Nitra Card, a corporate card and financial products suite built specifically for medical practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Own a defined territory and medical specialty, managing your assigned book of accounts and deciding how to break into each practice
- Generate your own meetings through high-volume, high-quality outbound (cold calls and email)
- Run sophisticated discovery to understand how practices make and spend money—DSO, supply spend, buy-and-bill float, payer dynamics—and connect findings to Nitra Card
- Navigate multiple stakeholders within practices (owners, practice managers, finance/operations) and hold credible conversations about cash flow, working capital, and supply spend
- Construct and defend ROI cases with practice owners, moving beyond product features to financial justification
- Build tailored business cases for each customer based on their specific financial challenges
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that land value points relevant to each practice
- Become an expert in your specialty—understanding how those practices buy, what they spend on, vendor relationships, and where Nitra creates measurable financial value
The role operates with a hybrid work policy: four days per week in office, Wednesdays work-from-home.
Requirements:
- Substantial B2B closing experience, typically 6+ years, owning the full deal life cycle from creation to close
- Experience selling a platform or suite of solutions (not point solutions), with ability to understand customer business and identify which product parts create value
- History of selling to business owners and senior decision-makers, navigating complex multi-stakeholder purchases
- Strong financial fluency: ability to read P&Ls, speak credibly about cash flow, receivables/payables, working capital, lending/credit, and explain complex financial concepts simply
- Strong customer-facing and executive presence—articulate, composed, and credible with owners and senior decision-makers
- Ability to learn and articulate Nitra Card's use cases, capabilities, and functionality quickly with intellectual rigor
Strongly preferred:
- Experience selling payments, fintech, commercial banking, cards, merchant services, expense management, AP/AR, vertical SaaS with embedded payments, or other financial products
Strong plus:
- Healthcare experience selling to practice owners, or familiarity with payer contracts, GPOs, distributors, MSOs, and private equity dynamics in healthcare
