Nitra is building fintech and software solutions to help medical practices manage their operations more efficiently. The company was founded by unicorn founders with exits of $1B+ and is backed by leading VCs including Andreessen Horowitz and NEA.
You will join the Sales team as a Senior Account Executive responsible for full-cycle closing of deals with medical practices. This is a territory-based role where you own a defined medical specialty and build deep expertise in how practices in that specialty operate financially.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the complete deal lifecycle from opportunity creation through close, including discovery, business case development, negotiation, and signature
- Generate your own pipeline through high-volume, high-quality outbound (cold calls and email)
- Develop expertise in your assigned medical specialty: understand how practices buy, what they spend on, vendor relationships, and where Nitra creates measurable financial value
- Conduct sophisticated discovery to uncover practice financials (DSO, supply spend as percentage of collections, buy-and-bill float, payer dynamics) and connect findings to Nitra Card solutions
- Navigate multiple stakeholders within practices (owners, practice managers, finance/operations) and hold credible conversations about cash flow, working capital, and supply spend
- Build tailored financial cases for each customer, moving beyond product features to demonstrate ROI
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that land value points specific to each practice
You bring:
- Substantial B2B closing experience (typically 6+ years) owning full deal lifecycle from creation to close
- Experience selling platforms or suites of solutions, not point solutions
- Track record selling to business owners and senior decision-makers, navigating complex multi-stakeholder purchases
- Strong financial fluency: ability to read P&Ls, discuss cash flow, receivables/payables, working capital, lending, and credit
- Strong customer-facing and executive presence with owners and senior decision-makers
- Strongly preferred: background in payments, fintech, commercial banking, cards, merchant services, expense management, AP/AR, vertical SaaS with embedded payments, or other financial products
- Strong plus: healthcare sales experience with practice owners, or familiarity with payer contracts, GPOs, distributors, MSOs, and private equity dynamics in healthcare
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate Nitra Card's use cases and capabilities
Nitra operates with a hybrid work policy: four days in office, Wednesdays work-from-home.
