Kiddom is transforming K–12 education by building Learning Intelligence Technology (LIT), a unified platform that combines high-quality curriculum, instructional tools, and student analytics. The platform helps educators reduce administrative burden and focus on delivering meaningful instruction, enabling schools and districts to provide more equitable, effective, and adaptive learning experiences.
You will own the full sales cycle for Kiddom's Southern California territory, building strong partnerships with K–12 district leaders. This is a field-focused, relationship-driven role ideal for a strategic seller experienced in complex education sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, and in-person engagement to build a qualified pipeline of district opportunities
- Lead discovery conversations with district stakeholders to understand instructional priorities, challenges, purchasing needs, and long-term goals
- Deliver engaging virtual and in-person presentations and product demonstrations connecting Kiddom's solutions to specific district needs
- Own the sales process from initial outreach through negotiation and close, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan across California, focusing on driving district adoption of core instructional materials in Math, Science, and ELA
- Travel throughout the territory approximately 2–3 times per week to meet with prospects, customers, and key stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of proven sales success, particularly within K–12 education and curriculum
- Proven track record owning and delivering against annual sales targets up to $2M, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals
- Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce and Salesloft
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with ability to communicate value and build credibility with diverse stakeholders
- Deep knowledge of the education landscape, school district priorities, challenges, and decision-making processes
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% throughout California for customer meetings, district visits, and conferences
