Salary: CAD 162,500 - 215,000 / annual
Cohere is a leading enterprise AI company building cutting-edge foundation models and end-to-end products for businesses. As a Senior Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for net-new logo acquisition targeting Global 2000 and large enterprises in Western Canada.
You will identify and develop leads, conduct consultative discovery to understand customer challenges, and close transformational multi-year SaaS deals in the 7-figure range. This role requires deep partnership with prospects to tailor Cohere's AI solutions to their business goals, working closely with customer success, solution architects, and product teams to ensure successful deployment and expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving net-new business through outbound prospecting and relationship building with key decision-makers
- Acting as a trusted advisor, understanding customer technology ecosystems and business objectives
- Partnering with channel partners (cloud hyperscalers, system integrators) to scale outreach
- Owning the entire sales cycle from initial outreach through proof-of-concept, close, and deployment oversight
- Collaborating with Sales Development Representatives on pipeline generation
- Serving as the voice of the field to inform product and engineering priorities
You bring 8-12+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience closing complex, high-value deals. Background in technical consultative selling (developer tools, APIs, AI/NLP solutions) is valued. You have experience supporting customers through deployment phases, working with channel partners, and communicating effectively with C-suite and technical audiences. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, are deeply curious about AI/NLP technology, and excel at relationship building and strategic thinking.
