Salary: USD 118,000 - 157,000 / annual

Datadog is seeking a Security Sales Engineer to join the enterprise sales engineering team, driving adoption of Datadog's security solutions within strategic accounts. You will support the Enterprise Security Sales team by collaborating with sales to identify and understand security requirements across the customer base, conducting detailed product demonstrations, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. Key responsibilities include: supporting enterprise security sales efforts; collaborating with the broader sales team to identify security requirements; conducting product demonstrations showcasing Datadog's security capabilities; providing technical expertise during customer evaluations and proof-of-value initiatives; developing deep product knowledge of security offerings and industry trends; assisting in creating technical proposals and sales materials; working with product management and engineering to relay customer feedback; and participating in industry events and conferences. You bring a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with deep experience in SIEM platforms, detection pipelines, SOC workflows (alert triage, investigation, response), endpoint security (EDR/MDR), and deployment of security controls in live environments. You have expert knowledge of developer and DevOps ecosystems, application security best practices, and strong understanding of security principles. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related security tools is required. Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are needed. Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings and industry events is required.
