Vectra AI is seeking a Security Engineer for Pre-Sales to lead technical engagement across Latin America. As a key member of the pre-sales team, you will serve as the primary technical expert for all customer and partner interactions throughout the sales cycle, from initial demonstrations through deal closure and beyond.
You will provide technical account management alongside Regional Sales Managers, delivering clear and compelling product demonstrations while acting as the subject matter expert on Vectra AI's threat detection and response platform. Your responsibilities include training strategic partners across the region in Portuguese and Spanish, maintaining competitive market intelligence, and ensuring alignment across product, R&D, and sales teams on customer requirements and product capabilities.
Key responsibilities include leading customer and partner demonstrations, conducting technology reviews and integration assessments, collaborating on complex deployment projects, and participating in design reviews and release meetings. You will identify new business opportunities by building strong technical relationships with enterprise customers and channel partners, and deliver presentations at industry events and webinars.
Required experience includes extensive background in technical or pre-sales roles as a Security Engineer or Sales Engineer, with proven success managing large enterprise accounts. You must demonstrate deep understanding of security-focused product lines (CASB, EDR, SIEM, forensics platforms), strong networking knowledge (L3-L7 OSI layers), and expertise in cloud security, incident response methodologies, and attacker progression. Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English is essential.
The role requires approximately 70-80% travel throughout Latin America. Preference given to candidates based in São Paulo, Brazil. This is an opportunity to join a Gartner-ranked leader in AI-driven threat detection, working with innovative technology and a customer-first culture.
