Key responsibilities include supporting the SOC's threat detection operations, contributing to impactful detection capabilities targeting sophisticated attacker tactics and techniques, enhancing endpoint and network visibility, and developing detection and response playbooks to protect SpaceX people, missions, and assets.
Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, IT, or STEM discipline (or 2+ years of professional information security experience), along with hands-on experience in operating system auditing for Linux, Windows, or macOS, and familiarity with network and host-based collection tools.

Security community contributions are valued.
