Salary: USD 65,000 - 70,000 / annual

Brave is seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) / Sales Development Representative (SDR) to expand its footprint in the developer and enterprise markets and establish an internal lead generation process for the Brave Search API. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for potential enterprise and developer users of the Brave Search API. Your primary responsibility is to identify, qualify, and schedule meetings for Account Executives, focusing on organizations seeking to integrate privacy-centric search capabilities into their products. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by connecting Brave's technology with businesses that prioritize user privacy. Key responsibilities include: - Prospecting: Research and identify potential clients (SaaS companies, media outlets, developer tools) that would benefit from integrating the Brave Search API - Outreach: Execute multi-channel campaigns (email, LinkedIn, cold calling) targeting CTOs, Product Managers, and Lead Developers - Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand technical requirements, pain points with current search providers, and budget authority - Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce/HubSpot) of all activities and leads - Collaboration: Work with Marketing and Product teams to refine messaging and stay current on new API features - Market Intelligence: Gather prospect feedback to inform product roadmap and sales strategy Required qualifications: - 1–3 years of BDR/SDR experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, API/Developer Tools, or Privacy Tech - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Familiarity with APIs, developer ecosystems, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn technical product details - Strong alignment with Brave's mission of online privacy and user data sovereignty - Proficiency with CRM software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach automation tools Brave is a privacy-focused technology company with 120 million users.
