Emburse is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) III to join its engineering team as a quality champion within a product scrum team. You will design and implement robust automated testing frameworks that ensure reliability, performance, and scalability across large-scale, highly distributed enterprise software solutions.
Key responsibilities include establishing test plans and approaches for features and functionality, ensuring code changes are thoroughly tested and released efficiently with high quality, and conducting system and end-to-end testing. You will coordinate and execute release and deployment activities for Emburse releases, design and implement automation for integration and workflow tests, and assess load and performance testing requirements to create tests that exercise and evaluate system performance under load.
You'll pair with developers to ensure applications and features are designed for testability, collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver products and services with high quality, and participate in peer code reviews to identify opportunities for improving the reliability and maintainability of test automation architecture.
As an SDET III, you'll bridge the gap between software development and quality assurance, driving continuous integration and maintaining high standards of product quality across all releases. This is a senior individual contributor role with company-wide technical scope in test automation and quality engineering.
