Salary: GBP 70,000 - 90,000 / annual

Monzo is seeking a Savings Pricing Manager to drive performance and continuous improvement of its savings products. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, data analysis, modelling, and product growth, with direct impact on deposit volumes, margin, and UK market competitiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor portfolio performance: Track live savings products against commercial targets, identify performance trends, and diagnose drivers behind deposit movements. - Drive volume and margin trade-offs: Analyse pricing elasticity, acquisition, and retention data to model trade-offs and optimise growth versus profitability. - Contribute to savings strategy: Size and model commercial impact of strategic initiatives to evaluate and recommend future decisions, collaborating with Finance during planning cycles. - Cross-functional alignment: Partner with Treasury, Finance, and Product Squads to provide analytical clarity on pricing decisions and balance sheet impacts. - Develop pricing analytics: Build, maintain, and improve core pricing datasets and Looker dashboards. - Lead competitor and macro analysis: Maintain view of UK macroeconomic landscape, Bank of England rate changes, and competitor movements to recommend agile, market-leading pricing shifts. The role is highly visible and hands-on, requiring close collaboration with Finance, Treasury, Data Science, and Product teams to develop market and deposit insights and turn them into actionable decisions. Requirements: - Pricing, portfolio management, or commercial product management experience within UK retail banking, fintech, or fast-paced consumer finance environment. - Highly analytical and hands-on with data; comfortable using data to understand customer behaviour and drive commercial decisions. - Experience with data analysis or visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, SQL, Python, Jupyter). - Comfortable working in complex, ambiguous spaces and translating intricate financial data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders. - Thrive in product-led, digital-first environments where things move quickly.
