DocPlanner is a healthcare platform operating in 13 countries, trusted by 90+ million patients and 300k+ specialists. The company is scaling an APEX-first Salesforce platform across multiple countries and business lines to power customer support, success, and experience ecosystems. As a Salesforce Developer, you will design and build scalable Salesforce solutions with a focus on Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AI-driven customer interactions. You'll develop robust backend services using Apex, implement complex case management, entitlements, milestones, and routing logic. You'll build and customize Experience Cloud sites for customer and partner self-service, implement Digital Engagement capabilities (Chat, Messaging, WhatsApp, SMS, Facebook Messenger), and create AI-powered customer service automations. Key responsibilities include designing scalable Apex solutions using domain/service/selector patterns with bulkified, governor-safe code; developing Apex REST APIs, callouts with Named Credentials, Platform Events, and async Apex (Queueable, Batch, Schedulable, Future); optimizing SOQL/SOSL queries for high-volume Service Cloud operations; and creating invocable Apex to extend Flows and bot conversations. You'll collaborate with Product, Business Analysts, Architects, Admins, and QA teams on solution design, participate in design reviews, and partner with DevOps on CI/CD using Git, SFDX/DevOps Center, and safe deployment strategies. Additional responsibilities include customizing Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and reports; configuring Flows, approval processes, assignment rules, and Omni-Channel routing; maintaining Salesforce security (users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules); and optimizing existing implementations to reduce technical debt. You'll support UAT, troubleshoot incidents using logs and debug tools, and document technical decisions and APIs. Success is measured by features meeting acceptance criteria and passing UAT on first attempt, delivering scalable solutions across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, improving customer self-service adoption through AI-powered support, maintaining zero governor-limit regressions, achieving healthy pull request metrics with small well-reviewed changes, and reducing defect rates while improving delivery cycle times.
