You will own sales strategy and operations for the Call Center Agents product line—an AI voice agent that answers and places patient calls, schedules appointments, and integrates directly with EHRs. The product is shipping new capabilities weekly, the market is competitive, and the sales team is small enough that one person can shape the entire sales motion.
Your responsibilities span three core areas:
**Set Strategy & Plan the Business:** Partner with call center leadership on go-to-market strategy across segments (health systems, specialty practices, FQHCs, behavioral health networks). Lead territory design, target setting, and quota allocation. Translate company goals into field-level numbers each rep believes in. Model capacity and hiring plans for reps, SEs, and implementation resources. Help design and administer sales compensation, including SPIFs that drive desired behaviors.
**Build & Improve Individual Sales Performance:** Create a performance scorecard for every seller tracking activity, pipeline generation, stage conversion, cycle time, win rate, and deal size. Diagnose where reps are losing deals using CRM data, call recordings, and deal reviews. Run regular 1:1 performance reviews with reps and their managers, identifying two or three specific improvements to track. Identify what top performers do differently and codify it into playbooks for the entire team.
**Enable & Train the Team:** Own sales enablement for Call Center Agents, including onboarding and ongoing training. Run trainings whenever the product ships new capabilities so sellers can demo, position, and price them immediately. Build and maintain core assets: pitch and demo scripts, discovery guides, objection handling, competitive battlecards, and ROI calculators. Certify reps through role plays and mock calls; retrain where data shows gaps. Be the bridge between Product and Sales, bringing field feedback to product and product updates back to the field.
**Build Systems & Infrastructure:** Own CRM hygiene, deal stage definitions, and KPI definitions so everyone reads the same numbers. Build dashboards and reporting that reps, managers, and leadership actually use. Move the organization from spreadsheets to scalable tools as you grow, and leverage AI tools to accelerate the entire machine.
You'll sit in deal reviews, forecast accurately before numbers slip, understand why one rep converts discovery calls at twice the rate of another, and turn those insights into team-wide training within days. You'll work directly alongside sellers, not just their data.
