Braintrust is an agent observability platform used by teams at Notion, Stripe, Box, OpenAI, and Cloudflare to trace agents, identify issues, and run evaluations. The company is hiring a Sales Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for the sales organization in San Francisco. In this role, you will partner closely with sales and marketing leadership to define roles, source candidates, evaluate talent, and close exceptional hires. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of top-tier Account Executive candidates, including passive sourcing across multiple disciplines. You'll communicate Braintrust's mission and value proposition authentically to candidates, serving as a trusted guide throughout the hiring process. Key responsibilities include: owning the complete recruiting cycle from sourcing through offer acceptance with a focus on quality and candidate experience; partnering with sales leaders to calibrate talent and make strong hiring decisions; identifying and executing improvements to recruiting strategy, interview processes, employer brand, and candidate experience as the company scales; tracking recruiting metrics and using data to optimize what works; providing actionable feedback to leadership on market dynamics and candidate sentiment; and streamlining workflows to improve recruiting operations without sacrificing quality. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for Account Executives, preferably at high-growth or early-stage companies. You should be a relationship builder who operates as a trusted advisor, comfortable pushing for the best outcomes. You have successfully helped candidates understand early-stage sales opportunities, including how to think about equity and ownership. You're a builder at heart who has started processes, initiatives, or projects and enjoys making things better. You take feedback well, act quickly, operate with high confidence and low ego, and are comfortable with shifting priorities and ambiguity while maintaining quality standards.
