Scribe is a specialized intelligence platform used by 94% of the Fortune 500 to capture and operationalize how work happens across their organizations. Founded in 2019, the company has grown to 7 million users across 600,000 businesses, is valued at over $1 billion, and is backed by leading investors.
As Sales Manager for Mid-Market Expansion, you will lead a team of Account Executives focused on growing Scribe's footprint within existing mid-market customers (250–1,500 employees). This is not a traditional account management role; approximately 75% of pipeline is outbound-sourced, requiring proactive prospecting, relationship-building with senior stakeholders, and creation of net-new expansion opportunities. The work is closely aligned with new business development, emphasizing pipeline generation, strategic hunting, and closing expansion deals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of Account Executives managing expansion within mid-market accounts
- Driving accurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline management
- Coaching your team through multi-stakeholder deal cycles and complex buying groups
- Building account plans that identify expansion opportunities and position additional Scribe products to new buyers
- Partnering with Customer Success, Product Marketing, RevOps, Enablement, and Product to equip your team
- Establishing coaching, enablement, and development practices that scale the expansion motion
- Getting hands-on in deals and customer strategy at critical moments
You bring 2+ years of experience managing Account Executives in high-growth startups, with a track record of leading teams that grew revenue within existing accounts. You've managed teams selling into organizations with 1,000–5,000 employees, coached AEs through multi-stakeholder cycles, and led net-new product and platform expansion (not just renewals). You are rigorous about forecasting, pipeline management, and deal inspection while maintaining team velocity.
