Temporal is seeking a Country Sales Manager for India to lead and expand the company's enterprise sales presence across the region. Temporal is an open-source programming model that simplifies distributed systems development and improves application reliability for developers. In this role, you will develop and execute Temporal's sales strategy for India, leading a team of Account Executives while driving new customer acquisition and long-term growth across enterprise accounts. You'll identify and close strategic enterprise opportunities, navigate complex sales cycles involving technical and executive stakeholders, and build a sustainable pipeline across the region. Key responsibilities include: - Developing regional sales strategy and supporting enterprise customer acquisition - Leading and coaching a team of Account Executives, fostering collaboration and professional growth - Engaging customers and prospects through executive meetings, regional events, and industry conferences - Partnering with Marketing, Solutions Architecture, Developer Success, and Partnerships teams on coordinated go-to-market initiatives - Sharing market insights and customer feedback to inform product direction and regional priorities - Building deep understanding of customer technical environments, business priorities, and market trends - Representing Temporal within the India technology ecosystem and building relationships with enterprise customers, partners, and the developer community - Managing CRM and sales tools to maintain accurate forecasts and support sales execution You'll need 8+ years of enterprise technology or developer tools sales experience, including team leadership within India. Experience developing regional go-to-market strategies, building/expanding regional businesses, and closing complex six- and seven-figure opportunities is essential. Strong understanding of enterprise software buying cycles, technical evaluation processes, and competitive landscapes is required. Experience with developer-focused, cloud infrastructure, open-source, or AI products is a plus. You should excel at building trusted relationships across all levels, from developers to executive leadership, and have strong communication and collaboration skills.
