Salary: INR 8,000,000 - 11,000,000 / annual

Temporal is seeking a Country Sales Manager for India to lead enterprise sales efforts and build the company's presence across the region. This is a strategic leadership role managing a team of Account Executives while driving new customer acquisition and expanding adoption of Temporal's open-source programming model and cloud platform. Key responsibilities include developing and executing India's regional sales strategy, identifying and closing enterprise opportunities, engaging customers through executive meetings and industry events, and navigating complex enterprise sales cycles. You'll partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Solutions Architecture, Developer Success, and Partnerships teams to coordinate go-to-market initiatives. The role requires leading and coaching a sales team, sharing market insights with Product leadership, and representing Temporal within India's technology ecosystem. You'll work with enterprise customers, cloud providers, system integrators, and the broader developer community to build trusted relationships and expand Temporal's footprint. The position involves understanding customer technical environments, tailoring Temporal's value proposition to both technical and executive audiences, and using CRM tools to manage opportunities and forecasts. Required qualifications include 8+ years of enterprise technology or developer tools sales experience with proven success leading enterprise sales teams in India. You should have experience developing regional go-to-market strategies, building or expanding regional businesses, and closing complex six- and seven-figure deals. Strong understanding of enterprise software buying cycles, technical evaluation processes, and competitive landscapes is essential. Experience with developer-focused, cloud infrastructure, open-source, or technical products is preferred. You'll need demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities for enterprise sales professionals, experience working with technology ecosystems and channel partners, and the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels from developers to executives. Strong communication, business acumen, and the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts around distributed systems and cloud-native architectures are critical. Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Navigator, and modern sales technologies is expected. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
