This role is central to advancing disease awareness, supporting account performance, and establishing patient identification and referral pathways for rare liver diseases with significant unmet medical need.
Strategic Leadership: You will build and lead the hepatology sales team across key German geographies, developing and executing commercial plans for current hepatology priorities and future rare liver disease opportunities. You'll prioritize specialist networks, regional opportunities, and key accounts to drive effective field execution. The role requires translating market and field insights into actionable strategies that support launch readiness, post-launch execution, and clear commercial priorities. You'll build structure in emerging market environments by setting direction, establishing priorities, and adapting strategy as new information becomes available.
Market Development & Disease Education: You'll support disease awareness and patient identification in rare liver diseases, partnering with specialist centers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and relevant institutions to support appropriate diagnosis, referral, and treatment pathways. You'll help the field team identify local implementation needs and opportunities to improve patient pathways.
Account Engagement & Activation: Ensure strategic engagement across expert centers, key stakeholders, and regional health-system networks. Coach RAMs to develop account plans reflecting local stakeholder needs and care pathways. Represent the field perspective in cross-functional planning with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing. Support accounts in navigating complex and evolving care environments.
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, develop, and coach a high-impact RAM team through structured field coaching, feedback, workshops, and best-practice exchange. Set clear expectations aligned with commercial and medical objectives. Foster a culture of accountability, agility, shared ownership, and mission-driven execution grounded in Mirum's values.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the field leadership voice in commercial planning, aligning stakeholders around evolving priorities while ensuring compliant field activities. Partner closely with Medical Affairs on scientific exchange and KOL engagement, Marketing on brand strategy and field needs, and Commercial leadership on business planning and execution.
