Garage powers the exchange of critical assets across America's essential industries, starting with fire departments. The company has built an agentic platform that automates the entire transaction—discovery, payments, freight, paperwork, warranty, and financing—reducing what once took months to minutes. In under a year, Garage has expanded to all 50 states and grown revenue 10x. The company is based in New York, backed by Y Combinator, Initialized Capital, Infinity Ventures, FJ Labs, and other leading investors, and is currently one of the first 40 employees.
In this Sales Lead role, you will partner closely with the CEO and broader leadership team to identify gaps across the sales funnel, uncover strategic opportunities, and improve how Garage sells as the company scales. You will lead, coach, and develop Garage's Account Executive team, driving performance against ambitious supply and sales goals while helping recruit, onboard, and ramp new hires. You will build and continuously improve the processes, pipeline discipline, and operating rhythms needed to grow the sales organization and consistently expand the seller base on Garage's marketplace.
The ideal candidate loves the energy of high-growth environments, leads from the front, knows how to motivate and hold a team accountable, has good judgment and high integrity, and maintains a no-task-too-small mindset. You should thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and take initiative without waiting for direction.
Garage values growth orientation (investing in people who grow with the company), humility (creating an environment where the best ideas win), customer focus (genuine love for customers), and the ability to hack to success (moving fast, taking big swings, aiming for 80% solutions in 20% of the time).

- Experience coaching, mentoring, or managing salespeople, with strong pipeline management and sales fundamentals
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and takes initiative without waiting for direction
