Altruist is an AI-powered platform transforming wealth management by empowering financial advisors to grow their practices, optimize resources, and deliver superior client outcomes. The company is scaling rapidly and seeks a Sales Executive to join the Client Development team.
In this role, you will drive revenue growth by selling the Altruist platform to financial advisors. You'll develop deep product knowledge—including features like the rebalancer and Model Marketplace—and use consultative selling to build trust, educate prospects, and guide them through the buying process. You'll own your quota while contributing to team scalability through accurate Salesforce records, proactive feedback capture from advisors to inform product roadmap priorities, and collaboration with sales leadership.
Key responsibilities include: consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets; quickly mastering the Altruist platform and articulating its value proposition; leveraging consultative skills to acquire, retain, and expand advisor relationships; systematically gathering customer feedback; maintaining sales SLAs and CRM hygiene; and demonstrating coachability to continuously improve effectiveness.
You bring at least 5 years of relevant experience: as an independent financial advisor, as a B2B sales professional in fintech/financial services/SaaS, or as a financial services consultant at a top-tier firm. You have a proven track record of meeting quotas in fast-paced environments, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to quickly understand complex products and articulate their value. Ideally, you hold Series 7 and 63 securities licenses, possess a B.A./B.S. in Business, Marketing, or related field, and are technologically savvy (Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce, Zendesk). You demonstrate ownership, superb communication, resilience, creative problem-solving, and ego-less confidence.
