UiPath is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive SAP-focused automation and testing solutions in the Japanese market. In this role, you will partner with Account Executives to develop customer account strategies and proposals, working directly with SAP users, business departments, and IT teams to understand their challenges and design tailored solutions.
Key responsibilities include conducting customer discovery and requirements gathering, creating solution proposals and technical documentation, delivering product demonstrations and Proof of Value engagements, and designing solutions for SAP test automation and business process automation initiatives. You will explain complex technical concepts to both business and IT stakeholders, collaborate with SAP partners and system integrators, and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
You will also contribute to deepening UiPath's partnership with SAP by identifying new business opportunities, accumulating and sharing best practices for SAP-related proposals, and feeding customer feedback and market insights back to the product team.
Required experience includes either hands-on delivery work on SAP projects or presales/sales engineering experience creating SAP-related proposals. You must have practical knowledge of at least one SAP module (SD, MM, PP, FI, or CO), experience communicating with SAP users and IT departments, and the ability to translate customer requirements into solutions. Strong presentation and technical explanation skills are essential, along with fluency in Japanese business communication and comfort with English.
Preferred qualifications include SAP testing, test automation, or SAP transformation project experience; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or other SAP products; background at SAP consulting firms or system integrators; familiarity with RPA, UiPath, or enterprise application automation; and experience with large enterprise or complex organizational sales and implementations.
