We seek an experienced Sales Engineer to build and implement top-tier SE strategy in this hyper-growth environment. You'll partner with the sales team to evangelize Torq's platform by assessing technical business needs of customers and prospects, ensuring they achieve maximum value from the solution. Key responsibilities include: - Deliver pre-sales technical expertise and establish sales engineering best practices - Lead the Sales Engineering team in following sales methodology and ensuring proper CRM usage - Partner with sales leadership and product teams to drive operational excellence and meet quarterly/annual targets - Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team - Deliver compelling presentations to customers and prospects - Represent Torq at conferences, forums, seminars, and regional industry events as a thought leader - Collaborate across internal functions to ensure solutions align with client expectations - Provide product development input to the product management team Required qualifications: - 5+ years of pre-sales/solutions engineering experience with SaaS Cloud Security products - Deep security knowledge and understanding of pre-sales engineering and sales stage processes - Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and APIs - Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences - Proven experience selling cybersecurity solutions (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Cloud Security, Email Security) - Demonstrated success working with Fortune 1000 companies - Strong project management and relationship-building skills - Ability to influence technical decision makers and executives - Willingness to travel frequently and participate in events - Must currently reside in SF Bay Area; candidates outside Bay Area counties will not be considered
