UiPath is seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as a strategic advisor to mid-market banking and financial services organizations. In this role, you will help customers modernize operations through automation and AI, partnering with prospects and the sales organization to identify opportunities across lending, underwriting, servicing, compliance, finance, risk, and customer operations.
You will evangelize the value of automation and AI in banking and financial services by combining digital workforce capabilities with advanced AI/ML technologies. Acting as a trusted advisor to mid-market banks, credit unions, and fintech organizations, you'll understand key industry trends, regulatory pressures, and operational challenges impacting these sectors—including loan operations, KYC/AML, fraud detection, servicing, treasury operations, and back-office transformation.
Key responsibilities include partnering with sales teams to define account strategy and expand UiPath's footprint within financial services accounts; leading discovery workshops and process assessments to identify automation opportunities and quantify value realization; building and delivering industry-specific demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements; and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to refine solutions and go-to-market strategies.
You should bring experience in customer-facing, consulting, sales engineering, or solution advisory roles, ideally with exposure to banking, financial services, fintech, insurance, or highly regulated industries. Strong understanding of operational processes within banking and financial services, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to architect enterprise-grade automation solutions are essential. Experience with digital transformation initiatives involving AI, automation, workflow modernization, or RPA is preferred. You'll need to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and executive audiences, demonstrate knowledge of Lean principles and operational excellence, and be willing to travel up to 25%. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
