Prove is a mobile-first identity and authentication platform processing 20 billion customer requests annually for 1,000+ enterprise customers across banking, lending, healthcare, gaming, crypto, e-commerce, and payments. The Sales Engineer - Partnerships role is part of the Solutions & Implementation team, reporting to the Director of Sales Engineering.
In this position, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert and bridge between Prove's sales organization and technical buyers at partner and customer organizations. You will design and communicate tailored solutions that address both business value and technical challenges, demonstrating clear understanding of how Prove's phone-centric identity tokenization and cryptographic authentication capabilities solve real customer problems.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Sales Directors and Account Managers to drive technical wins during the sales cycle, leading product and technology evaluations, and delivering compelling product demonstrations. You will build credibility with prospects through expert knowledge of Prove's platform, technical architecture, business value, and relevant industry domains. You will support proof-of-concept (POC) execution in collaboration with the Data Science team and facilitate smooth handoffs to Onboarding, Implementation, and Solutions Consulting teams.
A significant portion of this role focuses on partner enablement: you will create public-facing architecture diagrams and integration flows for partner + Prove integrations (e.g., for marketplace listings), enable Prove's internal Sales Engineers and Implementation Project Managers to speak confidently about partner integrations, and train partner technical counterparts (SEs, SCs) on both Prove's value proposition and integration details so they can support their own sellers in the field. You will also own technical and product evaluation, integration planning, and scoping in partnership with GTM Partnerships counterparts.
You will stay informed on industry trends and market disruptors, work cross-functionally across Sales, Account Management, Onboarding, Implementation, Product Management, and Executive teams, and communicate clearly to keep the organization aligned and clients informed.
