Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote-first cybersecurity company that has built NodeZero, an autonomous penetration testing platform enabling organizations to proactively discover and remediate exploitable vulnerabilities at scale. The platform serves IT/SecOps teams, consultants, and managed service providers across organizations ranging from educational institutions to Global 100 enterprises. As a Sales Engineer, you will be a trusted technical partner embedded within the sales organization, supporting mid-market and enterprise deals across the Northeast region. You will work closely with Account Executives to help prospective customers understand both the technical capabilities and business value of NodeZero. Key responsibilities include: conducting discovery calls to understand customer infrastructure, security maturity, and compliance requirements; delivering tailored, outcome-driven demos and proof-of-value engagements; navigating technical objections and competitive positioning; maintaining customer relationships through the lifecycle to identify expansion opportunities; and translating complex security concepts into business impact (exposure reduction, compliance alignment, operational efficiency). You will also collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to ensure field feedback shapes roadmap and positioning, and support internal enablement by refining demo flows and technical playbooks. You bring 5+ years as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect, ideally in cybersecurity or infrastructure. You have hands-on experience with mid-market and enterprise accounts, combining technical depth with executive communication skills. You understand cybersecurity fundamentals (threat landscape, vulnerability management, identity, cloud, Active Directory). You excel at structuring proof-of-value cycles, simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences, and thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent) is required. You must be located in the Northeast region and have a minimum 25Mbps broadband connection.
