Cyera is hiring a Sales Engineer to cover the Nordics region (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and surrounding territories). This is a consultative technical sales role focused on enterprise cloud data security and AI trust infrastructure.
You will work with prospects and clients to architect enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management solutions. Key responsibilities include: driving incremental revenue through large, complex sales opportunities; identifying client business issues and designing solutions leveraging Cyera's full product suite; delivering and managing proof-of-value engagements and use-case demonstrations; consulting with executive stakeholders; managing cross-functional internal resources; and serving as the technical point of contact for Cyera's partner channel.
Required qualifications include previous experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales role, with expertise in cloud security domains (TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security). You must have strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure preferred), including roles, permissions, and APIs. Fundamental networking and database experience is essential, along with understanding of data storage types, encryption, key management, cloud IAM, and network design.
You should have a fundamental understanding of ML/AI, data regulatory frameworks, privacy programs, and data retention. Excellent communication and presentation skills are critical—you'll need to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. SFDC and opportunity tracking knowledge is required. The role demands a results-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and willingness to travel up to 50% within your territory.
Desired certifications include AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, AWS Cloud Security Engineer/Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or CCSP. This is a full-time remote position with flexibility to work from anywhere in the Nordics region.
