You will lead the Sales Engineering function, building and implementing top-tier SE strategy in a hyper-growth environment. Your primary responsibility is to lead the Sales Engineering team in executing sales methodology, ensuring CRM discipline, and driving operational excellence to meet quarterly and annual sales targets. Key responsibilities include: - Lead the SE team in following sales methodology and best practices - Provide pre-sales technical expertise and guide the sales team with knowledge and tools - Partner with sales leadership and product groups to drive efficiency and meet targets - Deliver compelling technical presentations to customers and prospects - Represent Torq as a thought leader at conferences, forums, and industry events - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions align with client expectations - Provide product feedback to the product management team - Ensure accuracy and accountability with internal systems Required qualifications: - 5+ years pre-sales/solutions engineering for SaaS security products (SecOps, SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, AI SOC) - Deep security domain knowledge and hands-on experience with agentic AI systems - Fluency with multi-agent systems, reasoning, tool calling, MCP, prompt engineering, and LLM limitations - Hands-on ability to build demo environments, POCs, integrations, and custom workflows using AI tooling - Understanding of AI trust, governance, explainability, audit trails, and enterprise security requirements - Knowledge of AI SOC competitive landscape and modern SOC operating models - Public Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) hands-on experience - Hands-on proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or bash; REST APIs, JSON, webhooks - Prior experience selling cybersecurity solutions (SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, Cloud Security, Identity, Email Security) - Demonstrated success with Fortune 1000 companies - Based in NYC Metropolitan area with regular on-site presence - Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences - Proven ability to manage multiple projects, influence decision makers, and travel frequently
