As a Sales Engineer I, you will serve as the primary technical advisor for regional resellers, VARs, and distributors across the UK region. This is a consultative, high-touch role where you act as an extension of partner teams, helping them grow their business by improving their ability to position, demonstrate, and support the Huntress Managed Security Platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver frequent hands-on training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations to reseller and VAR teams
- Provide technical demonstrations to resellers and their end customers, articulating Huntress value
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for regional reseller sellers and VARs
- Act as liaison between partners and Huntress product teams, providing feedback on customer needs and market trends
- Build and maintain sales collateral including decks, demos, and battle cards
- Onboard new resellers and VARs, setting up NFR environments and demo systems
- Support regional events, roadshows, and joint customer engagements
- Travel approximately 50% of the time to meet customers and attend industry events
You bring 1+ years of sales engineering or similar technical customer-facing experience, with understanding of the cybersecurity industry. You demonstrate strong ability to articulate product value, understand customer pain points, and present to C-level audiences. Technical awareness of malware, threat intelligence, sandbox analysis, and SIEM tools (Elastic, Splunk) is required. Preferred experience includes helping VARs build repeatable sales processes, familiarity with Microsoft security stack, and knowledge of EDR, ITDR, SIEM, SAT, or SOC workflows.
