Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing cybersecurity company building NodeZero, an autonomous penetration testing platform that helps organizations proactively discover and remediate exploitable vulnerabilities at scale. The company was founded by former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators and startup engineers, and serves organizations from educational institutions to Global 100 enterprises. As a Sales Engineer, you will be the trusted technical partner for Enterprise deals in the Pacific Northwest region, working closely with Account Executives to help mid-sized and large organizations understand the technical and business value of NodeZero. Your primary responsibilities include leading discovery conversations to understand customer infrastructure, security maturity, and compliance requirements; delivering tailored, outcome-driven demos and proof-of-value engagements; and translating complex security concepts into clear business impact (exposure reduction, compliance alignment, operational efficiency). You will own technical deal strategy, navigate competitive positioning and objections, and maintain continuity throughout the customer lifecycle—from initial qualification through post-close technical handoff. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to ensure field feedback shapes roadmap and positioning. Success means building trust-based relationships, running structured PoVs that consistently demonstrate clear value, and partnering seamlessly with AEs to drive pipeline progression and win rates. Required: 5+ years as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in cybersecurity or infrastructure; strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (threat landscape, vulnerability management, identity, cloud, Active Directory); ability to simplify technical concepts for both practitioners and executives; experience running structured PoVs and managing technical validation cycles; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience; must be located in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.
