Artemis is seeking its first Sales Engineer in the UK to drive enterprise security sales across the region. You'll be the technical backbone of the sales motion, partnering with Account Executives to win complex deals with SOC analysts, security engineers, and CISOs. Your responsibilities include leading technical deep dives and tailored demos, conducting structured discovery to understand customer security posture and existing tooling (SIEM, EDR, SOAR, identity), and designing customer-specific solutions that meet technical, security, compliance, and business requirements.
You'll serve as the primary technical owner in pre-sales, answering complex questions around product architecture, detection logic, scalability, data handling, and deployment. You'll support pilots and POVs in customer environments, address technical objections, and advise on best-practice deployment and detection tuning. A key part of the role is leading responses to security questionnaires, RFPs, and vendor risk reviews (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
Beyond individual deals, you'll help establish the UK technical go-to-market practice by building playbooks, best practices, and messaging that scales as the company grows in the region. You'll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security Research, and customer teams to unblock deals and share field insights, and contribute to pre-sales resources that serve the broader go-to-market team.
You bring 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar pre-sales technical roles in B2B cybersecurity. You're comfortable leading technical conversations with security practitioners, architects, and CISOs in complex enterprise sales cycles. You have strong understanding of modern security architecture (identity, endpoint, network, cloud), deep knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and common log sources, and familiarity with detection frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK. You're comfortable with APIs, scripting (Python, Bash), and query languages (KQL, SPL, SQL). You can clearly explain complex technical and security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and you're trusted and credible in high-stakes sales environments. Experience supporting enterprise security sales, security implementations, technical program management, or post-sale handoffs is a plus. Relevant certifications (OSCP, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, cloud security) and prior software engineering or hands-on cybersecurity background (SOC/detection engineering, incident response, offensive security) are valued.
