Pico is hiring a senior Sales Engineer for Corvil Analytics, a market data and trading infrastructure observability platform serving the global capital markets community. Based in New York, you will lead technical pre-sales engagement, customer discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value execution for Corvil across the Americas, working with banks, brokers, exchanges, market makers, and enterprise accounts. You will own the full technical sales motion from qualification through architecture design, proof-of-value, sizing, and proposal support. Key responsibilities include translating customer pain points into Corvil value propositions around trading observability, network/application monitoring, market data quality, execution transparency, compliance, and incident resolution. You'll build trust with senior technical and business stakeholders across trading technology, network engineering, operations, compliance, and executive teams. You will design credible Corvil architectures covering network capture, analytics, protocol decoding, timestamping, storage, and deployment across complex multi-site trading environments. You'll run high-impact demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements using customer use cases and live traffic. Post-sales, you'll provide hands-on configuration, deployment planning, system setup, and knowledge transfer to customer teams. You'll partner with sales on account planning, identify expansion opportunities, and help convert technical engagement into bookings. You'll capture customer requirements and competitive intelligence to influence product roadmap priorities, support RFP responses and executive briefings, and mentor colleagues to build repeatable playbooks. Required technical skills include practical knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP multicast, VLANs, SPAN/TAP, packet brokers), electronic trading architectures (market data plants, feed handlers, order gateways, FIX engines, smart order routers, exchange connectivity), trading/market data protocols (FIX, binary order entry, multicast), observability platforms (APIs, Kafka, Elastic, Splunk, KX, time-series databases), AI-ready data pipelines, public cloud/virtual appliances, and network security in regulated financial environments.
