Vesta is rebuilding the mortgage loan origination system (LOS) from the ground up using AI as the core engine to automate and modernize mortgage lending. Founded by early Blend employees, the company has raised $55M from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz and Bain Capital Ventures.
As a Sales Engineer, you'll be a founding member of Vesta's sales team, playing a crucial role in scaling the go-to-market motion. This is a highly consultative, technical sales role focused on enterprise mortgage lenders and financial institutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead technical discovery calls with enterprise prospects to understand their current architecture, processes, and pain points
- Deliver tailored, high-impact product demonstrations that translate Vesta's capabilities into clear value propositions aligned with customer workflows and business goals
- Partner strategically with the sales team as a technical counterpart, addressing objections, influencing deal strategy, and building trust with key decision-makers
- Act as a customer advocate internally, surfacing product feedback, edge cases, and market insights to inform roadmap and messaging
- Own the technical portions of the sales cycle to help close enterprise-level deals
You bring deep knowledge of the mortgage and regulated financial services sectors with a proven track record of delivering complex technical demos to these customers. You combine strong technical sales skills with the ability to translate sophisticated systems into customer-friendly language. You're a self-starter, company builder, and team player excited to shape product and culture at a high-growth fintech company solving a large, foundational problem in homeownership and financial security.
