The platform combines AI-powered conversation intelligence with AI agents that handle payments, appointments, authentication, and more—operating 24/7 across retail, insurance, travel, financial services, healthcare, and other B2B sectors.
As a Sales Engineer, you'll bridge the technical and sales sides of the pre-sales process. You'll work closely with account executives to understand customer requirements, own the technical evaluation phase, and lead hands-on trials using prospect call center data. Your responsibilities include gathering and translating customer needs, designing and refining conversational AI agents through prompt engineering, analyzing conversational data for insights, and presenting technical findings to both business and technical stakeholders.
Key activities include reviewing and writing API specifications, using visualization tools to illustrate AI agent design and integration points, identifying technology trends in industry verticals, and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams. You'll attend customer meetings, provide technical support to account executives, and help prospects understand how Replicant integrates with their existing customer service technologies.
You bring 2+ years of solutions engineering or similar customer-facing technical experience, curiosity about AI with some prompt engineering background (formal or self-taught), familiarity with APIs and authentication methods (REST, OAuth 2.0), and strong written and verbal communication skills. A degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent hands-on experience) is expected. Bonus skills include Postman, Grok, Salesforce, and Zendesk. You're collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
