Browserbase is a Series B startup that provides AI-powered headless browser infrastructure, enabling AI agents to safely read, write, and automate web interactions. As a Sales Engineer, you'll be the technical bridge between prospects/customers and the Browserbase platform. You'll work closely with the Growth, Support, and Engineering teams to drive adoption of the platform among technical buyers and AI tool builders. Key responsibilities include: - Serving as the primary technical advisor for prospects and customers, guiding them through onboarding, solution design, troubleshooting, and API/infrastructure optimization - Articulating Browserbase's technical value proposition and competitive differentiation to close deals - Building proof-of-concepts and sample implementations tailored to customer-specific environments - Collaborating with the product team to document customer requirements and align roadmap priorities - Creating technical enablement content including demo environments, guides, and reference architectures - Staying current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to train and enable the broader sales team You'll need 2+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer-facing technical roles. A strong technical background in web development, databases, or developer tools is essential. You should excel at explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, conducting compelling product demonstrations, and solving customer problems quickly. The role requires comfort in a fast-paced startup environment, customer-centric thinking, and the ability to build long-term relationships. The company operates fully in-office (5 days/week) in downtown San Francisco with a collaborative, high-ownership culture.
