Buildkite is seeking a Sales Enablement Lead to own the strategy, systems, and execution of how the company develops, equips, and scales its go-to-market team. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting directly to the CRO, responsible for setting enablement strategy, building scalable systems and content, and driving measurable GTM impact.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategy & Planning**: Set end-to-end enablement strategy aligned to revenue goals and GTM priorities. Decide what to build, retire, and focus on using pipeline data and field insights. Anticipate GTM team needs as Buildkite scales and get ahead of reactive requests.
**Systems & Scalability**: Design and own scalable enablement systems covering onboarding, skills development, content architecture, and tooling. Build a content and playbook library that stays current with product positioning and competitive landscape. Create operating rhythms (certification, reinforcement, measurement) that drive lasting behavior change.
**Revenue Impact**: Own enablement outcomes and connect program activity to ramp time, seller performance, pipeline, and revenue. Lead enablement rollouts of new products, messaging, and GTM motions end-to-end. Define and measure seller capability at each stage of the sales cycle.
**Coaching & Culture**: Set the standard for enablement craft and role model it. Coach Account Executives and upskill Sales managers. Bring field perspective back to Marketing, Product, and Brand to influence external positioning. Contribute to a psychologically safe, inclusive culture.
Ideal candidates have 6+ years in sales enablement, sales training, or senior GTM roles within B2B SaaS or technical software. You design enablement as scalable systems, not one-off sessions. You can take messy cross-functional problems and drive reliable outcomes with minimal oversight. You connect enablement to revenue, measure what matters, and can point to numbers moved. You build trust quickly with Sales leadership, facilitate with credibility, write crisp content, and coach to raise capability across the team.
The role is remote-first and US-based, requiring Pacific time zone location or within one hour to overlap with Australian stakeholders.
