We are seeking a Sales Director to join our New York office and drive expansion across the Americas, with a strong focus on structured credit, insurance, and asset managers. You will own your territory by identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities with senior stakeholders across multiple regions and verticals.
You will leverage a proven sales playbook and extensive evidence of success across our existing client portfolio. You'll have strong support from experienced credit risk experts, quants, product specialists, and technical sales engineers. Beyond established segments, you'll help build emerging segments including CLOs and direct lending, and provide subject matter expertise in defining and expanding our partnership network.
Key responsibilities include leading full sales cycles from outreach through contract closure, building and managing a focused list of high-value accounts aligned to our ideal customer profiles, coordinating with UK/EU sales leadership on go-to-market alignment, developing deep vertical expertise and market visibility, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Success, and maintaining a well-qualified, data-driven pipeline with disciplined CRM practices.
You should have 5-7 years selling SaaS solutions into financial markets, particularly to buy-side clients (insurance, pension funds, asset managers, specialist investors, CLOs, structured credit, private debt). A solid understanding of financial markets, credit risk analytics, and fixed income solutions is essential. Experience in entrepreneurial environments or selling new product/data sets is highly advantageous. You must be able to generate leads, develop relationships from scratch, drive product development for client workflow integration, and leverage prospecting and CRM tools like Salesforce. Excellent networking and presentation skills, proactive work style, ability to work under pressure, and strong teamwork are required. Fluency in foreign languages is a bonus. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
The role is based in New York with a hybrid working pattern requiring a minimum of three days in the office and moderate travel.
