Ripple is expanding its OTC liquidity business and seeking a Sales Director for the Middle East region. This is a high-ownership, quota-carrying role for a commercially driven professional with deep knowledge of the Middle East institutional FX and digital asset ecosystem and an existing network capable of building institutional pipeline from day one.
You will operate at the intersection of Ripple's trading desk and its growing roster of financial institution clients, sourcing, qualifying, and closing OTC deals across spot, derivatives, and digital asset liquidity products. This role requires someone who already knows the right desks and knows how to secure meetings—not someone waiting for inbound leads.
Key responsibilities include building and owning the regional OTC pipeline by originating and developing relationships with institutional clients across FX desks, treasury operations, crypto-native firms, and digital asset funds throughout the Middle East. You will drive the full sales cycle from initial outreach through term sheet negotiation and close, meeting and exceeding quarterly booking targets. You'll develop high-impact account plans prioritizing the highest-value counterparts and converting top-of-funnel interest into active trading relationships.
You will serve as the primary interface between external clients and Ripple's internal OTC desk, translating client needs into executable trades and ensuring pricing, flow, and post-trade communication meet institutional standards. You'll feed real-time market intelligence and client feedback to the desk, helping shape product and pricing offerings based on ground-level insights. Coordination with trading, risk, compliance, and onboarding teams ensures clean execution and seamless client experience.
You will act as a subject-matter expert on Ripple's liquidity products—spot, options, and stablecoin settlement—translating technical advantages into clear commercial value for treasury and trading counterparts. Representation at industry events, desk visits, and market forums across the Middle East is expected, with frequent in-person engagement valued. You'll maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene, providing reliable visibility into deal flow and client status.
Required qualifications include 8+ years in institutional sales or trading-adjacent roles, with meaningful time at an FX broker, tier-1/tier-2 bank FX/EM desk, or a well-regarded crypto liquidity provider or exchange. Direct experience working alongside or interfacing with an institutional trading desk is essential—you must understand desk operations, what sales can provide, and how to close the loop between client requests and executable pricing. A well-developed network of active relationships across institutional FX desks, digital asset treasury teams, and crypto-native funds in the Middle East is required. You must demonstrate a track record of owning revenue numbers and delivering against them in competitive, relationship-driven markets. Strong understanding of OTC market mechanics, FX settlement workflows, and digital asset liquidity dynamics is necessary. Excellent communication skills at C-suite and desk levels, combined with collaborative instincts, round out the profile.
