ComplyAdvantage is seeking a Sales Director to build and lead the new business function across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will own new logo acquisition for the region, managing a team of four Account Executives and carrying the revenue number for new business. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you'll be responsible for building the team, establishing sales standards, and creating the operating rhythm that defines how ComplyAdvantage wins new customers in EMEA.
Key responsibilities include owning the new business number for EMEA with full accountability from qualified pipeline through closed revenue. You'll drive average deal value through stronger qualification and multithreading, identifying opportunities across the product suite including transaction monitoring, agentic AI, and ongoing screening. You'll recruit and coach exceptional Account Executives, developing them into independent operators through data-driven feedback and regular development planning. Your player-coach presence on live deals will help scale the team while giving people room to work things out independently.
You'll establish the regional operating rhythm by standing up qualification criteria, territory planning, accurate forecasting, and pipeline and CRM hygiene. You'll build onboarding and enablement paths specific to the new business motion. Cross-functional collaboration is essential: partner with Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Enterprise to ensure your AEs have quality pipeline, and maintain feedback loops to Product and global commercial leadership so EMEA's insights shape wider go-to-market strategy.
You'll represent EMEA in strategic conversations, engaging senior decision makers at fintechs, payment companies, banks, and credit unions across the region. The role requires comfort with ambiguity, proactive problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking in a fast-changing environment.
