Sierra is building an AI platform to help businesses create better, more human customer experiences. The company was founded by Bret Taylor (former Salesforce co-CEO, Facebook CTO, Google Maps co-creator) and Clay Bavor (18-year Google veteran who led Google Labs, AR/VR, and Google Workspace). Sierra is headquartered in San Francisco with offices across Atlanta, New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Munich, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney.
As Sales Director, you will lead enterprise sales efforts and help define Sierra's go-to-market motion during a critical growth phase. Your responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation targeting enterprise customers, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at large accounts, negotiating and closing complex 6- and 7-figure ACV deals, developing sales strategies to meet revenue targets, and collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, technical, and operations teams.
You will manage a $1M+ quota and own end-to-end complex enterprise sales cycles. Your work will directly shape how the GTM function operates and scales. You'll craft tailored sales presentations, implement effective campaigns, and serve as the primary point of contact for Sierra's largest customers.
Required: 8-12+ years in enterprise customer-facing sales roles closing large accounts, proven experience managing $1M+ quotas and running complex multi-figure ACV deals, exceptional communication skills, analytical mindset with ability to identify market opportunities and make data-driven decisions, and a strong track record in prospecting and lead generation.
Preferred: Familiarity with the AI landscape and emerging trends, experience building GTM strategies and sales teams from early stage or from scratch.
Sierra's culture is built on five core values: Trust (accountability, empathy, quality, responsiveness), Customer Obsession (deeply understanding customer goals and relentlessly driving outcomes), Craftsmanship (attention to detail and continuous improvement), Intensity (playing to win and fixing problems quickly), and Family (balancing intensity with support for personal and professional growth).
