Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Sales Development Representative based in Bucharest to generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and lead discovery. You will be responsible for identifying prospects in your assigned territory using internal and external tools, providing product information and quotations to qualified leads, and maintaining accurate records in Salesforce CRM.
Key responsibilities include initiating telephone and email outreach to discover commercial opportunities, utilizing lead generation tools to identify white space, supporting prospects through follow-up and quotation processes, and meeting monthly KPIs tracked via Salesforce activity reports. You will participate in call-out days, events, and customer meetings alongside sales colleagues, contribute to team training and onboarding of new sales associates, and maintain detailed lead information and activity records.
You should bring proficiency in both German and English for clear communication with prospects and internal teams. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential, along with attention to detail in record-keeping and efficiency with MS Office tools. Knowledge of the virtualization industry is preferred. A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
